Wade Trips
Our local wade trip take place on both wild and hatchery supported trout streams and rivers in the Watauga River Basin. While walking along some of the most pristine waters in the High Country, you will have the opportunity to catch rainbow, brown and maybe even a wild brook trout. This trip is perfect for the beginner or for someone who can’t spend the whole day on the water. If it is a morning trip then you will meet at 8:00 am and return around 12:30. Afternoon trips leave around 1:30pm and return at 5:30pm. Lunch and fishing license not included .
Our full day local wade trip also takes place on wild and hatchery supported trout streams; however, this trip allows the guide to take you to places that could not be reached with the time allowed on a half day trip. You will also be able to fish an assortment of great locations if the conditions allow. We will leave the shop around 9:00 am and will return about 5:30 pm. Lunch is provided on this trip. Fishing license not included .
